WASHINGTON — Officials associated with Akin Gump — the prominent D.C.-based multinational law firm — are telling Indigenous Wire that Gigi Sohn’s FCC commish withdrawal had less to do with her lack of concern for Indian Country’s digital needs and more to do with “dark money” non-tribal interests.
